    WCPCCS is one of the most influential international congresses in pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. This year’s congress brought together pediatric cardiologists, surgeons and researchers from around the world to discuss the diagnosis, interventional and surgical treatment of congenital heart disease, basic and translational research, and long-term follow-up.

    During the congress, lab members actively took part in scientific sessions and panel discussions, presenting the lab’s research progress in pediatric cardiovascular disease and exchanging ideas with international peers on joint research, data sharing and talent development — laying a solid foundation for deeper cross-border collaboration.

    The Xijing International Forum on Diagnosis and Intervention of Fetal Cardiac Malformations focused on prenatal screening and diagnosis of fetal cardiac malformations, imaging assessment, in-utero intervention and integrated postnatal management — an influential platform in the field of fetal cardiovascular medicine in China.

    Prof. Hao Zhang was invited to speak at the forum. Drawing on the lab’s research experience in fetal and pediatric cardiovascular care, he shared perspectives on early intervention and life-course management of fetal cardiovascular disease, and had in-depth exchanges with experts on related clinical and research topics.
